LEARN A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MUSIC AND RECORD YOUR VOICE FOR OUR VIRTUAL GLORIA PROJECT

Join our New Minister of Music, Carl Klein, in creating the "Virtual Gloria Project."  Students will need: a smartphone, as well as a computer or tablet for the class, and will need earbuds eventually.  They will learn a little about reading music and will be given a YouTube musical track and a musical score to look at while they listen.  They will install an app on their phone called "Smart Recorder", and (not during class time) will record themselves singing (audio only, no picture) and send the recording to me to add their voice to the Gloria for our Sunday services.  Later classes will include more instruction on understanding written music, and may include a small virtual tour of the organ factory where I work and aspects of the pipe organ.
